A little bit about WYOmusic

Interior or WYO Music Building

What We Offer

We are here to service the student, hobbyist, and professional music community of southeast Wyoming by providing popular supplies, affordable instrument repairs and servicing, and instruments for sale and for rent. We also aim to support local organizations that encourage music education and music making in our community.

Meet the Owners

Hi! We are Danica and Andy Mrozinsky. We moved to Cheyenne in 2015. After moving around the country, Cheyenne has offered us a place to call our own and we are excited to be a part of the growing energy building in the downtown area.

Andy is originally from Cody, WY, has a B.A. and M.A. in music and plays the trumpet as much as possible. He subs in the Cheyenne Symphony, teaches music at LCCC, provides private instruction for young trumpet players, as well as repairing instruments and managing the shop.

Danica is a military brat who attended Northwest College in Powell, WY for photography. She has a successful photo retouching and editing business and works on all kinds of behind the scenes things for the music shop.

We are excited to offer a supportive center for musicians of all ages in the Cheyenne community.

History of the Shop

Although WYOmusic is a new name in Cheyenne as of 2018, the music shop itself has been located in the same spot for many years. It began as Yocum Music in 1987 and changed hands in 2015 to become the Music Depot. Upon hearing that the owner of Music Depot was looking to retire, part-time employee Andy Mrozinsky and his partner Danica, saw an opportunity to restore the shop’s supportive presence in the local music community.
